A Monday in Yamagata

Went to Yamagata yesterday to do some B-day preparations for this upcoming weekend (its Monique's birthday and we having a great b-day weekend in Sendai). I met up with Nicole and we walked all over the city (it was pretty exhausting by the end of the day!). I think we both got what we went shopping for and then some! I'm such a shop-a-holic!

The bus ride from Nagai to Yamagata is always so beautiful, especially now when the rice fields are beautifully green. And Monday was a picture perfect day with a blue sky and while clouds! I couldn't help but snap a few pictures from the bus window.

JoeyD ended up having a half day at school and joined us in the afternoon. We went to Jusco and some other shops until we were shopped out for the day. Decided to have an early dinner at a new Italian place that ended up being less than impressing, but I enjoyed my friends company anyways. JoeyD decided that since he liked Tabasco so much he would have a few spoon fulls for an appetizer and Nicole happily helped him!

It was a nice Monday.
